Release 6.0.4b is functionally equivalent to Release 6.0.4a, with a bug fix which applies only to the WMQ transport on Linux systems.
2. New features
Previously, if an attempt was made to restore a WMQ handle, created on a Solaris system, on a Linux system, the error code BAD_MAGIC was returned. This is corrected.
The man pages, etc. are the same as for Release 6.0.1a - only the libraries have changed. There are libraries for both 32-bit and 64-bit Linux - the 64-bit libraries are enabled for WebSphere MQ only (since there is no 64-bit library for BEA messageQ). For Solaris, use 6.0.4a
The ObjectQ log file will indicate the version of ObjectQ against which the application was built. This may also be determined using:
strings myapp | grep Version.
3. Bug fix
A WMQ handle that was saved on a Solaris system could not be restored on a Linux system.
